How far would you go for a good deal?
Some people spend a few minutes looking through store ads or clipping coupons. Others stand in line for hours before a store opens for holiday sales. The folks featured on TLC's "Extreme Couponing" go dumpster diving, scour ads online and in print, spend hours planning, then even more hours shopping, all to get their groceries and household goods for next to nothing.
But giving up on precious sleep? Regularly? Yep, extreme couponer Kelly does that too.
"With my addiction to coupons, I may be up till sometimes 2 to 3 in the morning," said couponer Kelly in an exclusive clip TLC shared with us.
Why? Manufacturers often limit the number of coupons that can be printed online, so Kelly gives up sleep for a shot at the deals she wants.
The 37-year-old from Georgia and mother of three (who also works a full-time job) freel admits that she doesn't sleep so she can clip coupons. "I lack the ability to buy anything without a coupon," she said. "It pains me." Check it out:
"Extreme Couponing" airs at 10 p.m. Wednesdays on TLC.
