Courtney Stodden on VH1's "Couples Therapy."
By Natalie Finn, Eonline
Courtney Stodden made a very adult decision recently -- she's not ready to be a mom.
"We got into that issue, that was one of the main problems we were facing in our marriage," the 18-year-old, who's appearing on VH1's "Couples Therapy" with 52-year-old hubby Doug Hutchison, exclusively dished to E! News.
"He wanted a baby, and I did not want a baby," Stodden added. "I'm not against kids, but my career is my baby. ... And when I'm ready to share that, we'll discuss."

But, of course, you have to tune in to Couples Therapy to find out just how they manage to get over this bump in the road.
"We come together on everything," Hutchison told us in retrospect. "But it is something we contend with based on our vast age difference."
Speaking of which, Stodden insists there's nothing weird about her sometimes calling her hubby "dad" by mistake.

"I accidentally call him 'dad '-- you know, Doug-dad, same thing," she laughed.
"It is what it is," Hutchison added, also smiling. "The thing about us is, we can laugh at ourselves and that was part of what we were trying to convey on our show. ... She can call me dad, I can say, 'I'm raising my wife.' It's all in good humor."
But what do they have to say to the folks who still think they're a couple of May-December weirdos?
"Our haters are our motivators," the Green Mile and Lost actor also said, while his wife told us that shooting Couples Therapy just reminded her "what a beautiful man I married and why I fell in love with him."
Looks like a little Therapy did the couple good.
