Web hosting provider Easyspace announced on Thursday that is has launched a hosting package designed for new businesses that register for incorporation with Companies House.

The new Easyspace NewStart web hosting package including hosting, an email service and an .EU domain name.

All limited companies in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland are registered at Companies House, an agency of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. There are more than 2.7 million limited companies registered in the UK, and more than 400,000 new companies are incorporated each year, according to the Companies House website.

Web hosts tailoring services for startups is nothing new, but usually the services are the result of a startup program targeted at a specific segment of enterpreneurs, like the ProfitBricks program launched on Wednesday for New England startups. This package by Easyspace is specifically offered to companies that register with Companies House, and it provides hosting, as well as an ?editable web page?, email accounts, a domain, and backup and restore.

Many web hosts offer base packages with configurable add-ons like backup services, or website builder software, but the NewStart package from Easyspace bundles the services it sees fit for new businesses at one price. Recently, VerioVelocity launched a full package hosting plan for small businesses, also designed with the idea that businesses want several different services, and may be willing to pay once per month for a package deal with all the services they need.

?Launching a new business in the current economic climate is a big challenge so we are providing a cost-effective start-up package that makes it much easier for new starts to get online and reach out to the huge potential customer base on the Continent,? Sarah Haran, managing director of Easyspace said in a statement.

Companies that register for the new Easyspace package before March 31, 2013 will pay an initial annual fee of $8.04 (?4.99).

The packages include a domain name, an ?editable web page?, business web hosting, professional email accounts and backup and restore.

Until December 31, 2012, Easyspace will offer a free .eu domain name registration with all of its web hosting packages to help UK businesses target customers in the EU.

According to Easyspace, .eu domain name registrations grew by 7.4 percent YoY in Q3 2012. There are now more than 3.67 million registered .eu domain names.

?.eu registrations have risen steadily during 2012, with the Q3 results supporting our sustainable growth targets,? EURid?s general manager, Marc Van Wesemael said in a statement. ?During tough economic times, doing business online becomes ever more attractive. I see .eu?s growth as evidence of this trend across Europe.?
