BOISE -- For college players who are not invited to the elite combine workouts for all 32 NFL teams in February, pro day at individual campuses in March are huge.
Thursday was pro day at Boise State with over a dozen NFL scouts on want to watch a dozen Bronco seniors go thru drills and challenges
Fullback Dan Paul showed his "hops" with a big leap in the high jump, where he jumped over 37-inches which is big for a big man.
?
Running back DJ Harper, who did participate in the combine but wanted to make sure scouts got another chance to see him workout, ran the fastest 40-yard dash with a 4.45 time. This would have him as the nation's third fastest college running back based on combine times.
JC Percy, Jarrell Gavins, Darren Koontz, Mike Atkinson are among other Broncos who are hoping for a shot in the NFL, also put it on the line Thursday.
The NFL 2013 draft starts Thursday, April 25th.
