Gomez followed with shootout saves on Taylor Kemp and Helge Leikvang, lifting the third-seeded Hoyas (19-3-3) into their first championship in men's soccer. Brandon Allen also scored in regulation for Georgetown.
Schillo Tshuma scored twice, and Patrick Mullins and Christiano Francois added consecutive goals in a three-minute span late in regulation for second-seeded Maryland (20-1-3), which had its quest for a fourth title ended.
Indiana (15-5-3) joined Georgetown in the final, as Fe Hollinger-Janzen scored in the 27th minute to lift the 16th-seeded Hoosiers to a 1-0 win against 12th- seeded Creighton (17-4-3) at Regions Park.
The championship game is Sunday at 2 p.m. (ET) at Regions Park in Hoover, Ala.
