Temple Theatre is thrilled to present the Neil Simon classic?Sweet Charity!
Award winning Bob Fosse musical, all singing, all dancing for the first time on the Temple Stage! Charity Hope Valentine is an eternal optimist. While working at the Fan-Dango ballroom, she seems to have met a decent fellow in Oscar. Trying to hide her true profession, she lies to him. Soon, Oscar asks Charity to marry him. Unfortunately, her past gets in the way of happily ever after. Nevertheless, Charity remains hopeful that good things will happen in her life. Featuring such hits as, If My Friends Could See Me Now, I?m A Brass Band, There?s Gotta Be Something Better Than This, I Love to Cry At Weddings, and Big Spender.?
Sweet Charity is directed by Peggy Taphorn, choreographed by Jacob Toth, stage managed by Samantha Gass, Tom Barker is the Set Designer, David Castaneda is the Lighting Designer, and Jonathan McKone is the?Master Electrician.
Tickets for Sweet Charity?are $23 for adults, $19 for active military/teachers/groups of 10+, and $13 for students.
